ARK: Survival Evolved server hosting

ARK: Survival Evolved is Studio Wildcard's original dinosaur survival game, released in 2017: survive, tame dinosaurs and build with your tribe across many maps.

Run a private tribe server or a community PvE or PvP server, load a Steam Workshop mod list, choose the map, and let Steam and Epic players join with crossplay.

ARK: Survival Evolved servers start at 7 GB, and the configurator suggests 8 GB. Bigger maps, more players and longer mod lists benefit from 12 GB or more.

Add the Steam Workshop mod IDs, separated by commas, in the Mods setting of your control panel's Startup tab, then restart the server. The order of the IDs sets the load order.

Set the map in Startup settings: The Island, The Center, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Valguero, Genesis, Crystal Isles and more.

Add -crossplay to Additional Arguments in your Startup settings so Steam and Epic Games players can play together.

Search the in-game server list for your server's name (its subdomain) and enter the password from your dashboard.

Yes. Change RAM, storage, backups, the CPU boost, the hardware tier or the billing cycle from your dashboard. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. Switching between DDR4 Budget and DDR5 Premium moves your server to the new hardware for you.

Choose RAM and hardware above and check out. Your server is set up automatically, and you'll find its address, port and password on your dashboard.

Setup starts automatically right after checkout. The first start downloads the ARK: Survival Evolved server files, so it can take several minutes before players can join; you can follow the progress in the control panel console.

Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. There's no contract: cancel anytime from your dashboard and keep your server until the end of the period you've paid for. If you think you were charged in error, email support@octopuscloud.org and we'll review it in good faith.

Your server keeps running until the end of your paid period. After that we keep it and its backups for 30 days, and you can still download your files. Resubscribe within that window and everything is restored as it was. After 30 days it's permanently deleted.
