Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter into a binding contract, to use OctopusCloud.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on the cycle you select (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period.
• Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
• You authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for all fees, including applicable taxes, until you cancel.
• Prices may change; we will give notice before changes affect your renewals.

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or the billing portal. When you cancel, your service remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] and we will review it in good faith.

You agree not to use OctopusCloud to:

• Break any law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property.
• Host or distribute malware, run DDoS or other attacks, or attempt to breach security.
• Send spam, mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads unrelated to game hosting without permission.
• Disrupt or abuse the service, other customers, or our infrastructure.

You retain ownership of the files, worlds, and data you upload to your servers. You are solely responsible for that content and for complying with the license terms of any game software, mods, or plugins you install. We may remove content or suspend servers that violate these Terms or the law.

We provide backup features according to your plan, but you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data. We are not liable for any loss of data, worlds, or configurations.

We may suspend or terminate your account or servers if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or create risk or legal exposure for us or other users. You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling and closing your account.

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and maintenance, updates, or outages may occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OctopusCloud disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
