• Account information. When you sign up — directly or through a third-party login (Google, Discord) — we receive your email address, name, and profile image where provided.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles card data and shares only a customer reference, subscription status, and the last four digits with us.
• Service data. Configuration of the servers you order (RAM, CPU tier, storage, backups, billing cycle) and the status of your subscriptions.
• Server content. Files, worlds, and settings you upload to or generate on your hosted game servers.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, and log data needed to operate the service, secure it, and troubleshoot issues.

• To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
• To provision, run, and support the game servers you purchase.
• To process payments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
• To send service-related notices about your account or subscriptions.
• To protect the service against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

We use Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. Your payment is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. We store a Stripe customer ID and subscription metadata so we can manage your plan, but never your full card number.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that power our platform (e.g. payment processing, hosting infrastructure).
• Authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, users, and the service.

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. Server content is retained while your subscription is active and for a short grace period after cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted.

We protect data in transit with HTTPS and apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can close your account at any time. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].

OctopusCloud is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
